Sometimes, when I need a pick me up that some person somewhere in the English-speaking world knows how to pronounce my last name correctly, I troll wikipedia. Where I find people with the same name as my cousin, the same emo-punk look as said cousin, and born on my birthday. Or people with my birthday and surname but who I’m very much not related to. And then I weep b/c when I tell people my surname is exactly like Sergio Leone’s they have no idea who I’m talking about and I have to instead reference Tea Leoni.
